Capitalizing on Microbiome Data: Modeling and Storage to Turn Data into Useful Insights

Join us for an enlightening webinar on extracting critical insights from microbiome experiments by integrating data the right way.

In this joint webinar from Zifo RnD Solutions and Boost Biomes, scientific and technical experts Peter and Veronica will share their insights on key considerations for data analysis and integration.

We’ll explore the challenges of working with microbiome data and the importance of factors such as relational databases, data modeling, and data standardization for efficient downstream analysis. This webinar is designed to provide valuable insights for scientists, analysts, and industry professionals navigating complex data analysis challenges in the field of microbiome research.

Date: March 29
Time: 8:00am PDT | 11:00am EDT | 5:00pm CEST

Speakers:
Peter Bossier, Principal Data Architect at Zifo
Veronica Garcia, Senior Director of R&D at Boost Biomes

Bios:
Peter holds 30+ years of experience in software development and engineering with 20+ years experience in life sciences industry. In his previous roles he was the CTO of a large Belgian medical device CRO architecting their EDC tool. In 2008, he co-founded e-novex, a clinical trial service provider utilizing Electronic Data Collection and Clinical Trial Management System technologies. Currently he is architecting and designing data engineering solutions for biotech companies in the omics space.

As Senior Director of R&D, Veronica Garcia leads the evaluation of novel microbial technologies to ensure quality and expediency through the product discovery and development process. Prior to joining Boost Biomes, she safeguarded astronauts from encountering pathogenic microbes in a space habitat through the environment, water and air systems, or food supply as a microbiologist at NASA Johnson Space Center.

Boost Biomes developed a platform technology that identifies and understands interactions between microbes from any environment. This cutting-edge interaction discovery engine has positioned the company to develop live microbial products by reformulating natural microbiomes into designer consortia that work together to ensure consistent, robust performance. Boost Biomes works with external partners across multiple industries but is internally focused on developing crop input products coming to market starting in 2023 to displace chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
